Exit M6 at J36. Follow signs for Windermere (approx 16 miles), then Bowness down to the lake and boat piers (approx 1.5 miles).Join the A592 going south towards Newby Bridge. Pass Burnside Hotel on left. Pass Ferney Green Drive on left. Storrs Gate House is on the next junction, immediately after the signpost to the car ferry and Hawkshead.
