Jerichos is a family run guest house situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. A wonderful central location from which you can explore the Lakeland fells, stroll through picturesque hamlets, or simply unwind at your leisure. Circa 1870, this magnificent Victorian property with a large private car park,is only 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and a leisurely 15 minute stroll down to Lake Windermere. We are perfectly placed for those with or indeed without a car. Extensively refurbished and constantly maintained, the original period features marry well with the contemporary stylish décor. All rooms have a light, airy feel with ensuites that are modern and attractive in design. Free Wifi is available throughout. The cosy lounge is a great place to unwind with a glass of your favourite tipple. Jerichos Restaurant is open on Saturday nights and all bank Holiday weekends. Jerichos, Windermere is situated in the heart of the Lake District and is easily reached from the M6 motorway. From Exit 36 follow the signs for KendalWindermere (A591). On approaching Windermere turn left onto Elleray Road just after passing NatWest Bank Then take first right into College Road. We are 200 yards on the right.From the Rail and Bus Station Jerichos is only 5 minutes walk . As you exit the station turn left onto High Street and follow the right fork. Cross straight over the next intersection into College Road. We are 200 yards on the right.
