Follow the A591 past Windermere village, turn left at the roundabout towards Bowness on the A592.From the North: Leave the M6 at junction 40 (Penrith). Follow the A592 along Ullswater, and over the Kirkstone Pass. Continue to Bowness on the A592.By Train: The Lake District station, Oxenholme, is on the direct London-Glasgow route. A connecting local train takes less than 20 minutes to Windermere or we can arrange to have you met at Oxenholme.
