Lakeland stone-built house erected in the 1800s, the house was originally a family house and was converted to a guesthouse in the 1980s. All rooms are modernised and include en suite facilities, hairdryers, colour TVs and central heating, are provided for guests. Dunvegan has a local authority fire certificate. The proprietors are always on hand to ensure that comfort and hospitality are guaranteed. Windermere is an excellent base to explore the Lake District and is centrally located for daily excursions to all parts with public services connecting to all major towns.In Lakeland, viewing the lakes from the water is an ideal way to see the hills and mountains. From the M6 jct 36 follow the A591KendalWindermere approximately 20 miles. Arriving at Windermere go down the hill and through the village to the pedestrian crossing. Turn left just after the crossing into Broad Street. By train change at Oxenholme for Windermere.
